Kale, like lettuce, comes in wide varieties. Our go-to variety is Lacinato. It’s not too coarse and can even be used with no prep as a sandwich wrap.

It grows very quickly and abundantly in the mason jar passive hydroponic method with clay pellets.  Remember, it’s a “cut and come again” type of plant – which we adore.
